EU Delegation to China hosted an event titled “Cliamte change: what science tells us” in Beijing China on March 5, 2025.

The Ambassador of the EU Delegation to China, H.E. Jorge TOLEDO gave an open remark for the event, emphasized the importance of science-based work to address the climate change challenges. The co-chairs of IPCC Workig Group I, Dr. Robert Vautard and Prof. Xiaoye Zhang, andDr. Bart van den Hurk, co-chair of Working Group II, shared the main contents, focus and strucutre of the Seventh Assessment Cycle (AR7) report. The Panel of exerpts had an extensive discussion around science-based climate change research, IPCC work focus, trend of the science development, and public communication etc.

Ms. Marie Reysset and Ms. Jiexi Feng from UPM participated the event.
